Hi y’all. My name is Kaitlynn but I go by Kait now, it’s been awhile since I’ve been on the app. I’m a little over 2 years and 3 months clean from self harm…it’s been really hard lately as I think about it often but I’m trying my best to keep it up and be strong.
Good for you Kait! It’s good to see you. Glad to hear you’re doing well - that’s wonderful news.
If you don’t mind me asking, do you have something that has helped keep you grounded? I know self-harm is something that comes up a lot here and I’m sure others are walking their paths as well, with the ups and downs. It’s not my path personally, but I know it is for many regulars here.

Honestly I’ve just been using music as a coping mechanism. I write my own music and it seems to help a bit. I also talk to some of my friends when I’m feeling that way or sometimes I color I’ve been dealing with a lot of stuff lately so when it’s kind of getting harder to cope with everything but I’m not giving up yet
