Getting a phone call from someone reaching out for help whether that be something as simple as getting a ride or needing to talk honestly feels amazing! It helps us out just as much as it helps the person reaching out!!

Service is much an important part of AA so in picking up the phone you will not only be helping yourself but someone else as well. Remember we are a family - no one of us is better or worse than the other!

I picked up the phone to call for a ride…they said wrong #…oh the irony. I had to laugh.

The good news is that each time you lift it up it becomes lighter. When I got my phone list it was tough. But once I got on a roll it became easier. I had a few wrong numbers along the way too
