40 days without alcohol and 12 days without weed. Starting to feel good and although I got sober from weed at the psych ward, I don’t have cravings or need to smoke. Of course bad days and moments will come, but right now I feel I got this, I feel so confident of staying sober! But gotta stay focused. ODAAT.

In an hour & a half I’ll be fast asleep as I’m up at 5am for work tomorrow but as I lay here I’m feeling quite emotional. Big thanks to everyone on here for reading & responding to my post. I’m not on every day or even every week but when a milestone comes up or I have a breakthrough y’all are the first people I think of. This is such a supportive community.
Anyway my first sober birthday, it’s so exciting

Trivia: did you know that in China this would be considered your 2nd anniversary? Not entirely true in this case, but kids are considered 1 year old when they are born and are forever 1 year ahead of kids born as 0 years old. Funny little differences, no idea what made me think of that

2 years since i started working on a healthy lifestyle. It took a few months of focusing on being sober to get started but im down 100lbs and working on fine tuning
