As I left work today I saw a man heading home carrying a take out pizza & a bottle of wine and I thought “I really miss that” (the wine). It’s like breaking up with your boyfriend who causes havoc in your life but you’re still in love with him.

Still being strong, even though (seasonal on top of regular) depression makes it hard not to drink. Hope it’ll get better soon.

Doing great with your sober time. Remember that the drinking will not help you in any way. Keep up the amazing work in staying sober.
Hopefully you can talk with someone or reach out for support to help you deal with the depression . You are not alone!

I haven’t even talked to anyone all Christmas, so I don’t think there are many people left to talk to about depression at the time hahaha. But I’ll try to keep my head up, it’s the only thing left to do for now I guess.

Thanks friend. Keeping out head up is sometimes all we can do. This isn’t easy I know. I try to fill myself with comedy to laugh it out so to speak.
I’m sorry for the crummy Christmas. If you do feel low and depressed do reach out to a hotline or connect here. I find just reading through the threads and chatting on here to be a great help.
