I was in a huge funk when you showed up. Depression, existential crisis, etc. I stepped up my participation here to help me get through it.
You showed up and you were very active here smashing those early milestones one after another.
I remember thinking that you were going to make it.
Here you are. One year sober!

Made it through Thanksgiving and Christmas. Christmas Eve was frustrating - surrounded by family drinking which hasn’t bothered me all that much but I found myself incredibly bored and not wanting it to go as long as it usually does. To be expected - long night, hosted for 8+ hours but got through sober. 110 days without a drink. Looking forward to not stressing about holidays.

This was second sober christmas and I would not have it any other way. Very chilled stay at home holiday filled with good food, naps, daily walks and watching old classics from telly. Onwards to new year.
