Hello everyone, It’s been a year and a 1/2 with out a drop. I can’t believe the mental and physical positive changes that have gone on in that time. I recently bought a new Sea-doo (jet ski) and took the dog out on the river for the first ride.
In the few days of Preparing for the trip, thought of drinking and the fact that no one would know ran through my mind. One thought always came to the front That is, how good I feel now and why would I want to go back to feeling that way again.
Took my dog Rusty (red Miniature poodle) out for his first swim. He loved it.

Welcome to the community Curt - a huge congrats on your 1 1/2 of sobriety.
Grateful that you were able to think about day 1 and remember how you do not want to repeat those days.
