@Robin please advise.
Yes you can! I had to If you go to your profile, click on the The seeking help link there is something to click on to be removed.
Thanks! Didn’t want to join unless I knew I could back out if needed
Genius! Thank you, Robin.
Hi @Alexis81 … I just categorized the thread you created under “Seeking Help” … and am now wondering if you have opted in ?? If you haven’t, you might not see your own thread!!
Sorry!! Let me know if you want me to change the category to something more generic … If you don’t want to opt in…
She will get notifications when we tag her and be able to see her thread. It should remain in Seeking Help, as she has been drinking. Thanks for all your help!
Thank you!! I had one of those panicky moments when I thought I probably shouldn’t have interfered
Also, I couldn’t find the @ that goes to all the mods. I searched and tried typing a few @ variations. If it exists, what is it?
@moderators
Thank you
@moderators only works for PMs, unfortunately it doesn’t work as a tag
Tho I am not sure that works. I think it may work for just messages?
You can also flag as something else and we get a notice.
HI! Thanks for helping me out with this. I thought it worked like FB, you type something in your status box and post it. I’m still trying to learn the ropes on this whole messaging and posting thing. Now i just have to find my posting. Dont seem to see it anywhere but i know its here somewhere😅
Thanks so much!
@Alexis81, please take a look at your notifications, there should be links to your post there. Also, if you click on your avatar and go to your activity from the pull down menu, you will find your posts. Note that you need to opt in to the special section to see your posts.

Gareth, Gareth, Gareth!!! Hello!!
I want your days to be bright, so let me know how else I can help?
Been a while since we mentioned it, so a reminder of our Seeking Help group.
In general posting under the influence specifically is not allowed on the public forum.
However, we all understand the need for help can happen at any time. So this special, opt-in category was formed to provide members with support in any case. Sometimes when we most need it.
Should you ever need it, it’s there. You can also opt back out after opting in should you ever want/need to.
im struggling with recreative screen usage. when watching tv, i might also look on ts and post there, is that allowed?
Well, that is a paradox, isn’t it?
I think that’s between you and whatever power/conscience you believe in, Jan. Whether your being here (or on a screen) is an amount appropriate for supporting your health and recovery.
(Edit: Though the spirit of the thing was originally toward substances. We’re all still working on how some of this looks for other addictions as things grow, so feedback is welcome.)
