Thank you! It’s been out in the sun too much and not as vibrant in color these days, but hopefully I can in and get it touched up here soon.

This is from a painting my brother did in 1999 whom was a lost soul and drank him self to death two years ago, basically committing suicide, so I decided to take that painting pic to a tattoo artist and had this done. It’s a reminder to me of how he died and how broken hearted he was and left everyone. It took me two years to get it, and I spent two years struggling with his death. It’s a reminder to me of what alcohol can do to you. I miss him everyday and am now 44 days AF.

Beautiful. :+1:

I got this a fee weeks ago for three years sober. My first tattoo in15 years. It’s funny how life experience can change your perspective on things. I have experienced much more physical pain compared to the now ease of a tattoo.

I love it looks great on you

This song lyric really spoke to me, so I went and got it tattooed on my forearm to remind me to always be myself.

I have regretted 4 out of 5 of my tattoos, got them all between 17-22 when I was a young, drunk, broke, impulsive creature.

Been gunshy on tattoos ever since (12 yrs). But I’ve wanted to cover my first tattoo for 10 years, and I’ve been conceptualizing and modifying this idea for a year now - so it’s go time. I felt, and feel, good about it.

So thrilled with it. Go back in 2 weeks for color, which will be a 3-4hr session. She’s busting out chartreuse as one of the colors for it and she had me then and there.

It symbolises my love of plants - agave in particular, the desert, the wildlife here. My rebirth into the best version of myself.
My spirit animal, the roadrunner. Strong, fast, clever birds. They’ve got moxie and cunning. They don’t quit.

They also eat baby rattlesnakes and have been known to pluck hummingbirds out of mid-air.
