Just got three more of my passport stamps done. Had to audible the HK one because you just get a small receipt when you enter. So I pulled an old one and had the dates changed.

Oh very cool – can’t wait to see that one 
I live near Manchester in the UK ( but I’m from Liverpool). The bee is a symbol often used by Mancunians. Symbolising the ‘worker bee’ and that image of the city as a busy hive of urban industry, it became increasingly popular as a tattoo locally after the Manchester Arena terror tragedy, as a symbol of unity and solidarity in the city. There you go. They took a terrible event and used the image to bring them together. I rather like that.

My one year anniversary of getting this tattoo and that makes me happy! I want to keep working on this sleeve and am considering some simple black line designs in between what I have and maybe a couple bumble bees with color…I need to start thinking about it!

Oh no! My guy moved away. He’s not that far but there are several other talented artists I like at the shop I went to so I will likely pursue one of them. I also like the idea of a woman tattoo artist working on me and they have a couple I like.

I reached the grand old age of 60 and decided, why not ? As part of my bucket list I decided to get some tattoos, the aim being to eventually get a full sleeve.
