Share your tattoos (no triggers please 🙏🏻)

This is mine done by my friend who does hand poked bamboo. Unalome to represent life’s (many!) twists and turns, and the crescent symbol is the yoga studio I work at that helped change my life

That skull on your forearm is AWESOME!

I’m just posting as a placeholder so I don’t lose this thread. I’ll be back later to post some of mine. I actually just got another one yesterday too. BBL

Mine is on my ribs, adjacent to my heart for placement and meaning. It’s called “The Doctrine of The Romantic”. It’s an old code I lived by for most of my life. The doctrine is to be written in metaphors and not words, as words fall on deaf ears. To find a love that can hold my wild heart, and to one day die with honor for that love. May she never let go, and may she one day bring me back.

I failed that many times with alcohol. Being little more spiritual and devoted to my beliefs, every time I’ve had a failed relationship, I’ve felt like I broke code. That usually led to some darkness and hard times, usually long runs of whiskey to cope with how I felt like I violated that code or doctrine. My current goal is to get back to being the man that believes in that, and to find better ways to cope with failed relationships as it happens In life.

Nice idea for a post BTW. New here and so far I really find this community peaceful, safe, and refreshing. I’m a little more introverted so some of the topics are healthy triggers to get me out of my shell

You mean the chest was most tender?

It wouldn’t have been to bad but the layers of colors and the shading it gets a little tender and dont get me started when it got to the nip :man_facepalming:lol

Hahah
:no_entry_sign:nips.

I have my sternum done but my chest is so bony it didn’t hurt. I found of all my tattoos the most sensitive spot was the top of my hip where it meets my lower back.

Thanks for the heads up cause my next piece is my entire back to right below the waist line so it doesn’t look weird. What’s funny is that when I did my octopus I thought the inner arm and towards my armpit would have been bad but it wasn’t. The one on your sternum is it colored and what is it of if you dont mind me asking?

Black and grey and it’s a moth.

I only have one color piece it’s on my right side/rib piece its a girl’s face with sugar skull mask and butterflies (hence the color) .

I have been trying to get booked in to finish my right sleeve but it’s impossible to get in with an artist on this island.

I’ve been trying to find someone to finish my other sleeve cause it’s hard to find someone that does polynesian art with color most guys only want to do black and grey. Well I hope you get an appointment soon to finish your other sleeve. I’m going back for more on the 5th after my trip to the Big Island
