I haven’t been able to get to a meeting to get my 5 year chip.

My son, 11 and a half years sober, left this for me with a lovely thank you note for taking care of them while his family had the flu, when they were in town, with dangerous winds and fires and no electricity. And the baby!!

I still cry thinking about his note. How he hopes to be a dad like me. Best recovery chip ever.
