Hey Mike! My diet consists of loads of vegetables and fruits. I recently started cutting out all processed sugars which has helped TREMENDOUSLY. Morning consists of lots of egg whites with acai bowls after my workout.

Workout is 5-6x a week starting with 5 minutes of stretching, 15-20 minutes of cardio, then 40 minutes of weights. Consistency is key.

Im blessed to have a bachelor’s in Exercise science and spent years as a personal trainer. Just was hard to apply it when I was drinking/using haha .

Here’s a pic of a normal breakfast.

When you say all processed sugars do you mean checking sugar content on everything not fresh?
I’m trying to get a good food plan; I hate to cook.

I personally try to avoid anything thats packaged and has added sugars, really. I do olive oil and balsamic for salad dressings (there’s a tahini based one that I like with no added sugar) and hot sauces or salsas (again look for added 0 grams added sugars on the back) instead of ketchup or other sugary dressings.

Packaged steamed veggies can be easy and delicious If you don’t like to cook. Helps a lot if you add some olive oil/avocado oil along with sea salt and another spice even. I’m really enjoying smoked paprika with sea salt on these steamed bags of root vegetables I picked up from Costco warehouse.

right picture is a little over 2 years ago before I was sent to rehab (26) the left was a few weeks ago (28).

left picture was days before I was sent to rehab and right was a few weeks ago.

I’ve had many slips over the past 2 years. None that have lasted more than a few days, and each window of sobriety getting longer and longer each time.

Dude, I remember that first picture. Or at least pictures of that time, but I’m pretty sure I remember that particular picture. It embodies early sobriety/recovery. The latest picture embodies confidence and serenity.

First photo is November 2018, hungover and ashamed of the usual drama that happens when I’m drunk. Second photo is November 2019, not 100% sober but I had cut down to a couple of beers a week. Now I’m 26 days sober.

First pic me at 245lbs deep into my addictions. I was consuming at least 10 pints with 5 shots of vodka minimum a day and a gram of coke.

Second and third picture is me just shy of 500 days sober at 200lbs
