Day one is the most important

But it’s also the most difficult in my opinion so I would like to give you a warm and happy congratulations :balloon::balloon:

We only need one, day one. Coming from someone who has been relapsing for years, keep up your sobriety.

Check out meetings and post and read here daily.

When time is going by slow, if your sober every second is a huge victory

Your amazing and we both don’t need to feel a hangover ever again

It only gets better from here

Thanks for the encouragement everyone. You all inspire me. Everytime I feel like a drink, I log in. Onto day 3. Surprised I’ve had no withdrawals (apart from shaking hands), but I’m waiting for them. Bit dizzy and spacey today though. All in all, it’s going well 2😀

What an amazing transformation @anon27760155!! I had to use my brain a little too much for a Saturday morning though trying to figure out the conversion. lol
I love, love, love those trainers!! Had to look that up on the internet as we call them sneakers. lol
Please tell me you bought the ones in the pic.

These type of posts really are one of the best motivations to keep sober, good job everyone :grinning::+1:

Its amazing how quickly the visible effects of alcohol can melt away once you quit. :raised_hands:

I promised myself once I hit 60 days and 40 lbs lost, I would post here, so here goes…1st photo was a year and a half ago. I remember this was a Sunday and I was so pumped to see Hamilton but I missed the first 10 minutes because of work calls and then slamming a drink to calm down. I think this is one of 3 photos that I allowed to be taken of me over a 3 year span. Sober me photographs much better lol.
