You’ve inspired me to learn how to make cordage. What a great skill to have and it looks so fun, too!

There are plenty of videos on YouTube to help you get started. Now when I go for walks I’m constantly looking in the bushes for plants I can use! Have fun :star_struck:

Remember this piece I was working on many months ago :speak_no_evil_monkey::speak_no_evil_monkey:

Cracked it open for a relaxing session. This took another three hours! My aim is to finish it by Halloween so I can hang it.

It’s taking a long time for me because I’m a ridiculous perfectionist and very OCD about my work and tools and the order of doing it, so I have to get everything in the lines and clean the brushes and water a lot between colour changes. You can imagine that I half enjoy it (it’s completely empty mind time for me=meditation) and half frustrate the hell out of myself! I just have to accept that it will take me ten times longer than the average person to do. That’s the joy of being me!

Market research: Would you pay for something like this? I’m toying with idea of setting up a lil’ enterprise. How much do you think I could ask for?

I booked myself onto a lino cutting class this evening in order to create an image for a logo for my business venture. First step was bribing this lil guy to pose for me with pumpkin seeds. I need to carry on working on the Lino cut at home, but I’m pleased with my progress so far.
