So I’ve finally managed to work on the two canvases I made last month and have got this one finished today. It’s 66cm x 66cm (24” for the US folk) and lots of lovely oil paint.

I made a spurtle out of birch in woodwork this afternoon. This is a traditional wooden stirrer for making porridge. They make these to sell in the cafe of the community centre that I do the woodworking in and it raises funds for the project.

Building my stock up for the holidays… treated these babies with some patina so they would pop.

Never worked with copper myself because my skin turns black when wearing

The second of the 66cm x 66cm canvases finished today. I have more stretcher bars and canvas so I’ll make some more canvases in the coming week as I’ve been enjoying working a bit larger.
