50cm x 50cm oil on canvas. This is a painting from way back that I’ve returned to with fresh eyes.
I also stretched another two larger canvases today so I’ll have something to work on over the weekend.
Thanks! Glad you like it!
Top one stands out fierce
But bottom one for clothing…
Cool! I like the first one the most, there is more debth in it and that yellow is making it more “alive”
Could offer both options… both are amazing but I’m feeling the bottom one more
I appreciate the feedback! @Tragicfarinelli @SoberWalker @JazzyS .
Its so hard to stop on a painting. I was very content with stopping before I added the yellow. I hung in on the wall and then the maybe I should voices started…
Yes, recogize that feeling when I’m silversmitted something But when doing airbrush artwork like this you use stencils right? Can you use them again and make the one you preferred again?
Yes, i make the stencils from my artwork. And I can make stencils from photos I take too now.
Ive had my eye on this for a while before i wanted to make merch.
The details i can cut with this cricket are amazing.
For the merch i drew a bunch of different things that would be usable for a wide range of things. That Rockfish is one of my favorites.
the shark is an old drawing i did. Its a four layer stencil. My first attempt at a four layer stencil. I made a bunch of mistakes but I was able to save it.
The cricket software will make a 9 layer stencil out of a photo. I’m excited! The possibilities are endless. I’d like to start a business painting fish on people boats. I have enough on plate…
The Octopus is a stencil with a few stickers to show what the cricket can cut.
What a great idea Jason! I think a lot of boatowners would love to have such artwork on their boat. I know I would (if I would have one ).
66cm x 66cm oil on canvas
I may do more to these two canvases but I’m letting this paint dry a bit first. I like looking at my paintings on the screen as part of the process of deciding what to do next.
Earlier in the week we were planting spring bulbs at the community centre and this inspired me to make some dibbers for Christmas gifts. The wood workshop manager liked these and thought they’d sell in their shop, so I’ll be making more in the coming weeks.
So very cool, useful and wonderful…
Awesome!
I stayed up late cutting these on a Friday night and woke up earlyish and made a bunch of shirts on a hangover free Saturday!
Some cool creations! Glad to see you having sch fun with your designs.
Very nice indeed!
