Thank you! I find it to be pretty relaxing too, I’m able to kinda shut off my brain for a bit like with painting!
I really like yours, the flower head lady is so cool!! I most definitely will be doing more, kits at first then I might try my hand at a custom piece once I get a better grasp on more stitches!

I’ve been dabbling in pottery over the last year. Handbuilding, not wheel. Maybe one day I’ll try wheel but right now I’m scared of it. LOL
most of my stuff turns out a bit wonky (I call it “organic”) but these are some of my favourite pieces.

I recently attempted to take some higher quality pictures of a few of my mini figs from my first Warhammer set I painted last year rather than shaky, poorly lit images. I still need to work on the lighting!
Eventually I will photograph some of my more recent work that is a little cleaner. I definitely learned from my mistakes, which is a big part of why I enjoy this sort of painting!
This mini fig is 2”(5cm) from base to head, and 3.5in(9cm) from base to sword tip!

I don’t know anything about mini figs (except that they’re cool!)–did you add the tufts of grass at the bottom? Was that part of the kit? They whole thing is so impressive.

They are a blast to paint, and gain a lot of significance after reading some of the lore! The tuffs of grass do come separate, and the rocks are locally sourced. Both together add a bit of depth that the base doesn’t provide
