Another one. With dry pastels again. I try to understand where the light comes from and what it illuminates.

I don’t know what I’m doing with this.. I don’t have many hours painting like playing music , writing or sports but it is relaxing and definitely want to get some larger canvas and explore all the different types of paint .. This one is either done or no where near done.. not sure which

Ps: this is a very cheap paint set and canvas. Will buy some better stuff this weekend and definitely acrylic. Love acrylic and spray paint

I’m excited that you’re exploring and experimenting. Have fun! Be curious. Make mistakes and grumble and doubt… but just trust the process! Lose yourself in it. Pour yourself in it. It doesn’t have to be beautiful or make sense to anyone else but you!

I’m glad you did and why shouldn’t you have?

I once told a young woman who complained about not having better quality art supplies: if you can’t make something beautiful with what you have, you have no right calling yourself an artist.

And look at you! You’re making something beautiful with craft paint.

I also want to look into the one that is like a black crayon and sometimes people use there fingers to like help certain parts.. want to look into that also but mostly have only used acrylic or spray paint or both together. It’s also fun making stencils but actually kinda hard if its something more then just letters
