So for the first time in forever I have a nice-looking Christmas tree. Mainly because I put all the random shit my kids want to put on on an old mini one. What does your tree look like?
My little guy put up the decorations himself. I love that each one has meaning. I put Nova Scotia tartan ribbon on in addition to the sparkly Christmas ribbon. Still have to put up our tacky buffalo plaid star on top
Got the tree up today. And Mr. and Mrs. Claus.
Will decorate on Thanksgiving.
With 4 cats I don’t even know why I bother with a tree skirt. They love the tree.
Here’s our tree Normally we decorate our house after 6 december, but because of Covid we needed some sparkles in our house
It was perfect, Wife and I decided to out our tree up way earlier than normal and the next day it snowed. Not like the irritating, screw up the roads, I have to shovel again kind… Just the it looks pretty outside kind. Happy holidays everyone.
Since it is just me a wifey for Thanksgiving I thought we’d decorate the tree early.
Of course we have stockings for all the pets.
Beautiful tree Eric. For a second, I thought it was tilting to the left a lil bit then I realized, nope not the tree, Eric is tilted.
Love it, kids are the best at decorating xmas tree’s. Memories for a life time for them
Beautiful
Ever since I was a child, on last weekend on November, Dad would wake me up at 5am and we’d head up to the mountains to find a Xmas tree. Now that I have a family of my own, I do the same with my kids. We get up early and find the biggest, most beautiful tree and bring it home.
Actually, I made that up. Our tree is fake and it isn’t up yet. But when it is, I’ll post a picture.
You had me going there Dan. I’m thinking…ok beauty is in the eye of the beholder. What a relief to know that’s not your tree and can’t wait to see the real thing.
If I came home with a tree like that, the misses would tan my hide!
But you, it does have it’s charm, in it’s own little way…
Yeah, I can imagine kids saying something like they feel sorry for it, or it looks cold and making the parents bring it home even though there are nicer trees.
