I hope this thread is okay to make!
I’m 21, and I’ve loved my teddies since the day I was born.
Here’s Mr Giraffey:
And here’s my newest purchase, Mr Monty!
Teddies are such a comfort for us, and I’d like to find others who think the same!

Sorry, I didn’t mean to make this as Seeking Help, can mods change this please?
Done
I’ll put my 42 year cuddlies up later!
Here’s Brom Brom (He’s a dog but I didn’t know that as a toddler and I wanted a Bear like my big sis so Brom Brom the Bear it is). And his friend Mischa who came a little bit later. Both have been with me well over fifty years. Creeping towards 60 actually . They’re looking out at my little square since lockdown. I thought about taking them to the stuffed animal doctor for a makeover but then I thought why. They’re perfect as they are and we’re growing old together .
Here’s mine: Schildje.
It’s a little turtle I have for a few years now. I think you are never to old to have a plush friend.
Schildje travels with me on holidays.
Here she is in Scotland last year, first one is at the boat from The Netherlands to Scotland. Second one is in our car. I squeesed her every time when I was anxious because of the nasty roads
Je bent een plaatje van Schildje vergeten Clau!
Yes, because of issues to add it. It helps to shut the app down and reopen and then add the photo’s. So done
No way you’re almost 60, Men I so love your photos, how lush. Thank you for sharing x
Mr Giraffey used to travel with me too! But he’s so well-loved and a little damaged, so he’s in retirement now.
I love your photos and I’ve been to Edinburgh myself! Thank you for sharing!
Thank you so much Flo! So sorry to be a pain x
This is Babar:
He is named after the French cartoon elephant, which was adapted into a Canadian Broadcasting Corporation TV show when I was a kid.
This stuffed animal was handmade for me by my aunt. I’ve had it since I was very young (and you can see he has been well-loved ).
Thanks for the thread @Lile01 Harold the hedgehog who’s thirty five, my dad bought him for my tenth Xmas he was from an expensive shop and he’s in a lot better nick than his owner !pugster who’s one he belongs to my daughter she insists they stay together now so Harold has to live at my mums house
How sweet! I love it! Also, what a lovely cat! (Oops, two! Haha, I didn’t notice the one on top of the chair)
Harold is in exceptional condition for 35!! I love hedgehogs. Thank you for sharing!
He is quality , he goes in the machine and comes out great
This is Opal the Opossum, crocheted for me by my Mother-in-law. I love her fingers, her tail and her working pouch in front. She made it for me because I advocate for these amazing and misunderstood creatures. A lovely gift from a lovely human. My childhood stuffies are in safekeeping with my mother because I’ve moved around so many times in the last decade+ and I worry about losing treasures, but I’ll see about bringing them home when I next visit.
This is Quincy. In my past life (different husband) we had a car seat in the back of car for Quincy and we would take him to the Drive In with us.
Edit / He is 44 years old
I love them all! Thank you for sharing.
I’ll have to find more of my teddies…
