I only use my downhill board on my street., they are putting 14 speed bumps along my block, can’t wait till they have completed construction …night time pic of where one speed bump will be

That’s awesome man! That’s what’s cool about skateboarding is that we see the streets And architecture different than regular people like we see things that we can skate on or around or whatever! Even if I stop skating I would never be able to stop seeing it in my brain when I look around the city… I had a really fun time Saturday and I think I’m going to at the very least keep going first thing in the morning on the weekends before It Gets crowded. I’m very grateful to have the skate park that they built about a year ago. I’m even considering leaving a half an hour early for work every morning and just cruising around so I can wake up and then hop on my bike and go to work.. It’s pretty much on the way and I think that would be a great way to start my morning.. By the way that’s a pretty cool cruiser board you have! I need to get something like that with bigger wheels .. Definitely glad you made this thread man!!

I kinda avoid peeps when I’m out in general…
I go for a 20min walk around 4 30am…sip a cup of tea… .listen to a short podcast.
Started bicycling again today, which I like to do Spring & Fall… Be well

Yeah that’s why I’m going to keep going super early because nobody’s there and it’s really awesome. Of course I like interacting and skating with other people sometimes but more often than not I’d rather just do my own thing..
I’ve been having fun just putting my phone on the ground and recording basic tricks and then taking a screenshot of a frame.. Here is two from today they’re Pretty cool I think.. Technology still amazes me

This was the last time I was photographed on a board 7 years ago
And this one is from 14 year ago, attempting a spine transfer that did not go as planned. I superimposed two images back in the day, so it’s not as clean as I’d like, but definitely still shows how big I went. That is a 5’ spine I’m flying over!
I always had an urge to “go big or go home” and usually said I was fine after a fall “as long as it looked cool”. Thankfully (and honestly surprisingly) I never broke any bones. Plenty of skinned elbows/knees and bumps to the head though!
I have a few friends who I still occasionally have conversations with about going skating, but work and responsibilities of adult life tend to get in the way of any concrete plans. Definitely miss being able to spend a whole day at the park with good friends.
Skateboarding taught me about perseverance and the willingness to overcome fear despite potential painful consequences. Much love here.

Love the Girl team and brand. I’m a big fan of skater run companies.. thanks for posting.. I’m slowly getting back into the sport but really have no desire to throw myself down stairs and rails anymore or jump down stuff but just want to get the basics back and really been enjoying cruising around. Been watching all the classics like ES Menikmati, Baker 3, Flip sorry, Adio one step beyond and of course all the trans world and on skateboarding videos. And exactly I learned so much from skating like so many life lessons that are so important.. it will always be a part of and even times in my life when I wasn’t skating I was still seeing spots everywhere and cool things to skate on the street

Couldn’t agree more! Now that I’m not as flexible and recovery time will be longer I’m not trying to be as wild. I need to reconquer the pop shuvit before I attempt anything bigger.
I need a good helping of classic skateboard videos in my life today! Anything with Daewon Song usually got me psyched up to get back out there!
Definitely, I will always see stairs, rails, or small verts, whether in my home town or while traveling, and think “that would be a sick spot”

This is the park out where I’m living. Friends of Fernandina skatepark. This is a really fun park and the best part is that it’s right next to the beach and there is also basketball courts. Of course restaurant’s.
Went about 830 AM.. cruised around and did a few simple tricks then I went looking for more seashells for my growing collection and I just watched the ocean for a hour.
What a great day to be alive. I’m really excited summer is right around the corner and longer days/ more sun. As far as today the day is still young and I might go do some street skating at one of the shopping centers near me.
Next time I’ll get more photos of the entire park.. It’s very peaceful here!
