I had a neighbor that would do that!!
His Halloween was always a joy to watch … he’d stand outside for hours, as a statue in costume… and scare the kids on their way back up the path, after they’d got their candy

I live in a pretty darn dry area so we don’t get much snow in general. Maybe 12cm on the ground at the moment, if I had to estimate? Didn’t fall all at once, either. Mostly it has just been cold, windchills below −30°C.
