@Matt It’s the only thing i know that helps. The hope that what i went through will reach someone… Touch someone. Help someone. I can’t lat it be for nothing.

To connect is the reason we are here. Not just in recovery, but also as human beings. I would even go as far as to say that connecting is our basic purpose as human beings: we connect as community members, as family members, as activity-doers, as friends. (Try to think of one thing anyone does that doesn’t in some way involve meaningful participation from others.)
