I will be sober 6 months in April. I have been doing pretty well. I went to see a band play Saturday. That’s the first time I wanted a drink. I wanted to do a shot with the band. I didn’t. But it was the first time I experienced a trigger.

I guess everybody knows these situations. Today i had a very long and stressful day at work including a meeting with the whole board of the company, which went well though. Typically this would have been the situation, where i would have thought that i deserve a couple of beers in order to stop the brain to think about work. But i said “no the first one”…
