Sober journey day 15!

Day 15 :sob: lots been changing in such a short period of time and I am here for it. I have been what seems to be physical withdraws but I was under the impression they happen a few days after getting sober not weeks…so if anyone could give me some tips or advice on that it would be much appreciated :white_heart:

Congratulations on your 15 days Jewls
Great job!
I don’t have any advice. But I’m sure someone will stop by and give you a little support.
All I remember my first month was being angry as all hell, because I can’t have just one drink and drink like a normie.
Keep up the great work.

Congratulations on 15 days! :+1: As far as withdraws or cravings, I’m sure it varies from person to person but overtime it gets a little easier each day. Just try and stay strong and don’t give up. Even if you slip up, it’s not the end of the world, and if you need some support or words of encouragement never hesitate to reach out. :v::sunglasses:

You could be experiencing PAWS.

That’s really useful thanks! I’ve definitely had some of that. And I can’t believe it 6 months to 2 years for your brain to mend!

Great job on your 15 days my friend. The body is healing and the process is not a linear path. The first few weeks was just a headache and then I felt drained and ill for a few months.

Hang in there - things do get better and easier. If you do feel like its a bit too much, check in with your doctor in case you are deficient in vitamins.

It could also be Paws which i see that Lisa has linked earlier.

keep strong my friend :people_hugging:
