Allergies. She’s had them off and on for 4 years, so we had to get a relatively comfy cone. She has been scratching her ear and neck raw since her beauty parlor visit yesterday

Sometimes! I mostly compose rather than play instruments, though I’m learning violin at the moment. It’s fun stuff!

When I play piano it’s mainly for me to hash out ideas. I don’t perform well or smoothly, so I don’t have any plans to record myself doing so yet. But I have shared a piano piece I wrote (and had computer “perform” the notes) here:
It’s been harder to compose recently because I haven’t had the same computer access I normally do, and scoring by hand is much, much slower.
As for me playing the violin, maybe for now one would still prefer listening to cats in heat…

I love it! It’s alternately percussive and melodic and it really pulls me in. It’s also technically very interesting, flowing, weaving, exploring the keys. That’s great work!

Thanks! The best part of it for me was getting over my fear of sharing it. Everything else up until that point got locked up in eternal edits and rewrites and never saw the light of day.
