Thank you. I love frogs I’ve got three Golfodulcean poison dart frogs, which aren’t exactly poisonous in captivity.

It’s all to do with a specific beetle they eat in the wild, but I still wouldn’t try licking them, which has been suggested by some arsehole as a ‘natural high’! Which I think is utter bollocks.

Wow I’ll look those up, what a cool pet to keep. I assume these are quite specialist. You should post a picture on the pet thread?

Believe it or not they’re pretty easy to keep, once you’ve got the terrarium set up, I’ve got a misting system so I don’t have to piss about spraying the inside to keep the humidity up around 90%.

Feeding wise they eat fruit flys which I breed myself and even that’s straight forward and they’re flightless so walks really, sprinkled with calcium power for 6 days and vitamins on the 7th.

They are gorgeous. I always remember sitting at the Alamo in Florida waiting for my dad to collect the hire car and a little frog like this jumped on me. I was fascinated but scared. I’ve always wondered what exactly it was.

Beautiful
Thank you :+1:t2:
