Starting over… so yeah, its an exciting time
and I’m looking forward to each day. I woke up sober today. I think ill do it again tomorrow :innocent:

It wasnt great, but it was okay. And it was sober, which is great in and of itself.

This New Year was my first sober one in many many years. We got a cake, and had a little party of our own, my wife, two kids, two dogs, one cat and me. It was great. No hangover. Not having to listen to stories I have heard a hundred times before, no fear of DUIs, no drunk arguments, and no over drunk / passed out friends to manage. It felt great.
