I didn’t have a phone 54 years ago so the first one isn’t a selfie. It is before addiction. And the second one after. I’m still me, even though I spent about 40 years in between using. The little wicker table is still itself too. Love.

Took this photo today while out for coffee with a friend who is also a recovering addict. We had a wonderful time catching up & going over different ways to keep on keeping on. It’s only been 6 days for me, but that’s 6 days I’ve won control back over my life & I am proud of myself for that. Peace, love, & happiness to all …
