Thank you Ethan. It’s been a bumpy road but I am here and working on being much more present and mindful and searching to find my purpose and worth all sorts of self discovery. I am a constant work in progress, I tell ya!
Figured, I’ve been with ya’ll a year, may as well show my face! Just finished a workout so I feel great!
Wow you look fantastic and congrats on your workout!! What types of workouts do you do? Anything specific?
Thanks for the well wishes too!! It means so much to be thought of. Really. It means so much to know that.
Thank you!Recently I’ve been doing indoor cycle/ spin. I do some outdoor biking with my husband too, but really I change what I do a lot haha! I also like to do FitnessBlender workouts from YouTube.
You are very welcome! Do you happen to use Peloton for your indoor cycling? Just curious! Hubby and I also enjoy outdoor biking… we have Electra single speed cruisers… the opposite of road bikes and the like. Haha.
Well it is about time.
I’m so grateful to meet you.
I wish it was a Peloton! It’s just a cheap one from Amazon, and the outdoor bikes are from Walmart. But they all function and serve their purpose! Do you think a Peloton is worth it?
Hello there Eric, thank you!
Donna, I really like this selfie. So good to see that smile. The selfie is a good one!
Thank you, sweetie!
Oh that’s cool! Whatever keeps you moving and motivated is what I says! I do fully back Peloton totally and completely. When hubby and I quit drinking almost 10 months ago, we invested in both a Peloton Bike and Peloton Tread. It was costly but we did finance it and after we both quit drinking ourselves into a oblivion and digging ourselves a hole of debt, we took the plunge and put all our daily drinking money to getting ourselves in a healthier lifestyle. Granted I have taken the last few months off from daily working out like I was doing due to life becoming pretty crazy, but I’m getting back at it now. Plus when I was using it daily it kept me focused and motivated to keep with it. I’m still down 35 pounds (started 9 1/2 months afo on my fitness journey) and most of that came off (30 ish pounds) by 5 months. Hope this helps!
I was there with you…
The obsession to drink didn’t leave me for over 5 months and then I was still fighting knee jerk reactions to pick up over every little thing for a few months after that. It gets better I promise but I had to keep adding things to my artillery of recovery warfare, I didn’t stop until I felt a balance. We are all at different places when we come into recovery, personally I was spiritually bankrupt.
I hope you keep putting different tools in your tool box for days like today.
Congrats on your 180 days, milestones are hard.
Your mind will be clearing up soon. Be patient, don’t give up. Took me a while to feel normal, maybe almost 8-9 months, however mine were opiates, especially for long time users like myself.
Hang in hunny! 6 months is amazing!
Day 301. It’s amazing how my hair can change from one day to the next! I guess that’s the blessing (or curse?!) of having naturally curly hair! Haha.
Let’s stick with blessing! I have the exact thing with my hair, it’s almost like a lottery waking up each morning to see which style I’ve won for the day.
Congratulations on 300+ days! Yay!
Haha, my hair is naturally straight and hardcore resistant to any change: blow-drying, straightener/curling iron, styling products etc just have no effect. I even lose my hair bands sometimes bc my hair is so sleek they just fall off oh well, to each their own I guess, LOL. Your hair looks great!
