Thanks - it felt like a good number
18 months. Wow. Congratulations.
I thought about you the other day when I was out walking with my daughter. I saw this little chap on the side of the path. The backdrop isn’t up to much, but he was beautiful.
Did the conversion. 7 minute mile, that’s excellent time! At my best, I was at around 7:20/mi. Now post-injury, it’s more like 9:00/mi…I’m just grateful to still be able to run at all, although I do miss my speed. Just got back from 5 miles in the rain, myself.
First place was 6:02/mi (!!), which is just absurd.
Congrats and well done!
Yeah, those are some pretty bad ass times.
18 months! Congratulations #Goals
Thanks @TMAC
Yeah, it was fast. Not mentioning that I stopped for few seconds to double check that I’m running in the right direction (which I didn’t btw ).
Sorry to hear you were injured. I had problems with my knees but not anymore . I did some strength exercises for my legs and bought a fish liver oil supplements and since then I’m fine
I love running and no matter if I’m always going to be fast or not, it’s my passion just to keep doing it and I’m definitelly sticking with this hobby for as long as my health and body will allow me.
When I see old people running (and sometimes also racing) I always know that it’s exactly where I want to be later in my life too. Keep fit and active because it makes me trully happy and like if I’m serving purpose of my life
