Went to an art installation for work and it happened to coincide with a colleague’s birthday so went to the pub. Got rinsed for ordering an apple juice and I made a lot of excuses for myself like, have an early start and watching my health. But ultimately it still resulted in me walking home celebrating eight weeks. Touch

Guys… This is me letting love in for real. First time since getting clean. 796 days underway.

Amen! I love this particular quote because a counselor if mine used to to say the only way to get through it is to go through it and that syncs so beautifully with how strong we are when we come out on the other side.
When things get really tough I’d sing Jim Morrissey’s Break on through to the Other Side. May not work for all but but did for me. Have a great sober day!
