Happy Friday. Itās been a slow day but Iām grateful for the gift of a day. None of us are promised one. Iāve got a lot going on but I am still sober. Iām not sure the exact day, I think 832 or 833? I like that Iām no longer invested in the days sober anymore. I carry my sobriety with me like a character trait. I donāt drink and I say that with pride when asked because I wouldnāt have grown so much if it werenāt for making that 1 decision. My mind is clear, my body is healing and I am always āavailableā for random opportunities. Life isnāt all rainbows but we are always better off facing problems with a sober, clear mind. I affirm that you all have a ādayā filled with gratitude because why not? Youāre not promised another one. Taking life one day at a time.

Got my hair cut yesterdayā¦ didnt go as short as Iād been planningā¦ I keep chickening out hahha BUT I did get it cut blunt like I wanted so theres that

Two full trips around the sun, including weekends, holidays, good days, bad days and everything in between. Not a drop of alcohol has entered my bloodstream.
I almost quit fishing because I wasnāt able to stay sober. Iām so glad I didnāt have to! I love fishing even more sober!

I love it! I got my hair chopped from near waist length to shoulder length and it was such a relief. Then I kept going shorterā¦you can always go shorter and hair grows back
