Part of my recovery plan is getting back in the gym consistent. Learning to love myself again and being happy in the skin I’m in. Selfish have always felt weird- likely for self confidence issues. That being said, here’s to a happier, sober and healthier new year

The town both my parents live has a huge park, great for going on walks. I go almost every day to stretch my legs, breath some fresh air and be by myself. This little lake is supposed to be an ice skating track in winter but, like often in winter in the netherlands, winter is more like extended autumn.

One of the best full breakfasts I ever had was in a dingy 24-hr casino in Brighton 
I don’t gamble (never have) and I was well into my sobriety at that point. It was 10am, a Tuesday, and it was the only place serving up food, lol. Pleasant surprise.
This was the extent of my time in Brighton

Always get a surprise in those type of places ! Think Brighton covers alot of bases, but cool place for sure…

Day 468. Lazy day for me. Start to a 4 day weekend. Realized that I’ll soon be sober for my first full calander year. All of 2021 without a drop. Feels so good to type that! Hugs and happy holidays to all!

Its hotttttt!!! Like cant go outside or you will melt kinda hot we are in the middle of a heat wave.
