Welcome back beard!!
Hit 6 months today. Longest I have been sober since I began my drinking career at 15.
I got here because the pain of living the way i used to, was greater than the fear of change.
Starting to dive into steps 6 & 7.
Progress in the spiritual life is based on looking inward and upward, not outward and downward.
Am I entirely willing and ready to surrender and let god remove my defects of character?
Do I want to, and am I willing to be different?
The hardest work is ahead, but I have faith that it is what I need to be happy, sober, and content in this world.
I am grateful for this community, and for all of you trying to live better lives and grab the world by the balls, one day at a time.

My baby girl reeled in a decent catfish and my boy a nice white bass
. In all we did pretty good with 10 catfish and 2 white bass.
