Sober Selfies #14 (shirts required, please review rules)

Nice to meet you Cheyenne. Again I think. Not sure. Maybe met you on the pet thread.

The best part of being sober is, we get our feelings back. The worst part about getting sober is, we get our feelings back.

As you’ve probably heard. It does get easier. You’re doing so well.
Congrats on 66 ODAAT’s
We got your back.

Look like a hot mess! I haven’t had a beard trim in a few weeks. Residents at work said I look less angry with hair rather than bald so I’ll let all the grays fly! Will be getting it cut soon, haven’t paid for a haircut since basic training so not even sure what to tell them to do, lmfao.

Ever get a new set of glasses? At first it feels like your eyes are being tugged out of your head, and the world seems much sharper and clearer. It can be unsettling, but after a time you adjust to this new sight, and this becomes normal. The world is as it has always been. Your perception is what has changed. The same can be said for our feelings and emotions in early sobriety. Soon, you will handle them much better. It’s all about the journey.
