Back in the saddle since AWOL from Friday on! I had my second shingles vax on Thursday and good lord that knocked my out. I read after they symptoms include headaches, tiredness, hot/cold chills, and more. Check, check, check, ad nausea.
Now, would I have taken it knowing what I’d go through? Yup. I hear shingles is really bad. I knew a guy who had it on his elbows! That’s always an impossible place to sate an itch. Then I hear someone had it in their nose! Oof. Yeah. I’ll take a couple days of sleep over months of shingles.
Glad to be back! Still 100% sober and no Diet Coke in a week now! Don’t miss any of my bad habits.

Just dropping in saying hello to everyone. It’s snowing here in the desert still out of town for work. Congrats to @everyone for waking up clean/sober & those that are attempting. My mental state still isnt the greatest I even thought fuck this recovery shit. Honestly I know that’s just my disease wanting me back. Life is good but my heads out to get me. I don’t have to change the way I feel with a substance I choose to walk through it clean. It’s not easy but I know it’s worth it. Hope everyone is well much love
