It was incredible. I went to ullapool from Inverness as suggested, nice little place and lovely Highlands scenery around.
Inverness I wasnt massively keen on to be honest, but that leg of the trip followed Skye and to be truthful NOTHING follows Skye, it was STUNNING. LOVED the Cairngorms also and loved Glencoe… Desperate to go back!
Walking the old man of Storr was my highlight of the whole trip. Beautiful and life affirming. Saw a pair of golden eagles lofting the heights of the cliffs behind the old man.
Loved it. Recommend Skye to you wholeheartedly
