We finished stacking out the rest of our gear today, officially ending my sixth sober crab season!
I had zero desire to drink all season, including celebrating tonight. I would never believed that was even possible six seasons ago.

Yesterday, visiting where the dog girl and I used to live.
That was such a different time.
We’re older now - she’s almost 13 and I’ve got 4 decades on her .
We’re both a little slower and a whole lot calmer.
She’s got me beat in the sober game, but I’d say she’s a fan of my 619 days.
