In Siena
I’ve never seen the movie The Gladiator.
But every one was making a big deal of it here.
One of the most famous films shot in the Siena area was “Gladiator”, winner of 5 Oscars in 2001. The splendid landscape of the Val d’Orcia , with its rows of cypresses and fields of wheat, was used as the setting for the home of the main character.
Maybe I should watch it.
