Sober Selfies #19 (NO swimwear, shirts required, please review rules)

I always liked and still do the skater owned companies. Ed Templeton is the man. Toy machine has seen a lot of ups and downs but has always had such a good team and put out amazing videos. I also really like the Girl/ chocolate skate team family and Baker/ Deathwish. Skateboarding history is pretty cool and as far as street skating it’s crazy how far it’s evolved since really blowing up in the early 90s … so Many teams were formed during that period it’s really cool

I made a few friends by walking in a local park early in the morning. One of them is Mr. Graeme. He came from New Zealand and has lived in the UK since his childhood. He’s a very interesting gentleman who wrote multiple books about rugby, now he’s writing his memories I believe. He used to be a journalist before he became a writer. He also owns a 1972 MGB  I love the car! Walking through the park and meeting him time to time for a short walk built up a nice friendship between me and this elderly gentleman. Today he took me for a drive through the countryside. I am so lucky!! :sunny:

I’m so proud of Sacha! He was 3rd from all the boys, 23 boys! And some of them were even 2 years older than him. We didn’t see it immediately cause they were running on athletic track so some kids were making second lap, the other still first etc. My run was after that so husband and kids left to the shops so they didn’t see results. We didn’t expect him to be on the podium! I checked results at home and was so surprised. Also a bit disappointed cause it would be something super special for him to stand on the podium. And of ourse to get a price! Well, next time. I feel he gonna be a true runner! :man_running:t3:

I was 17/33 which is also nice. My legs are sore now.

We had a lot of fun

Oh this is awesome! Way to go Sacha- yes - a true runner indeed. Runs in the family. I’m sure he’ll have plenty of chances to stand on the podium. Should be super proud of yourself and him. :running_man:t4::running_woman:t4::muscle:t4:

New Hat Day

@SoberWalker Actually that went very fast and smooth Claudia. Beforehand I thought this size hat not good for me, but I liked it right away. Good salesman too at the Stetson shop here. Not really suited for hiking, for that I’ll stick with caps (and rain hoods) for now.
