Just checking in and keeping myself accountable!!! My wife and son are up north for the weekend with her girlfriends so I’m on my own! Before sobriety I would take times like this to get fully annihilated from the time she left until she would come home! I’m taking this time for myself to reflect on those past memories and make new ones with friends. About to actually head out to see a good buddy who also went sober a year before I did! Feeling blessed for my wife, son, and those people I kept surrounded in my life! Have a great weekend sober family! One day at a time!!!

I just got back from a hike, this was taken at about 7,000 ft up. This place, in particular, has a bunch of larch trees that turn bright yellow this time of year. Thanks to instagram, facebook, and other social media, it drew hundreds of people here today (I counted 165 cars in the lot). 20 years ago, you could hike up here and not see another soul.

spent the weekend with my son’s grandmother, she’s 11 years sober and i’m 1 year and 33 days, strong beautiful ladies rocking sobriety with grace and courage and joy in our hearts no matter the pains and trials of life. family is so important and even tho my son’s father is not around im so fortunate to have his granny’s support and love

Oh that is a gorgeous view and sounds like an amazing hike. Funny how social Media made this the “it” spot. Hope you were still able to find places of solitude and enjoy the peace

I absolutely love football, have done all my life. My team is Juventus and I’ve always wished to go to some games in Europe. I have always wanted to visit Brussels after the tragedy of Heysel Stadium in 1985.

Ajax has a lot of history with Juve. One of the first matches I remember is Ajax winning its third consecutive European Cup in 1973 with Johnny Rep scoring the only goal
Then in 1996 we were denied a fifth cup when Juve won the final on penalties. I still think Ajax should get that one because your guys were proven to be doped up to their eyeballs.
And on Ajax most recent good run in Europe there was this great match in Turin. Beating Ronaldo made it extra special.
I saw the Heizel 1985 live on TV. Black memory.

When in doubt. walk it out. Came to my hometown for a visit this weekend and so far it has been very lackluster, disappointing and triggering
