Feeling really down today and saw this limited edition Monty the Mammoth in Aldi. I really wanted it and kept umm’ing and ahh’ing over whether to buy it or not. I left it when doing my shopping (couldn’t carry it all as I don’t drive) went home and then immediately went back to buy him! And he was the last one!
This is the description he came with… I’d like to think I have the same personality…
Was it a slightly silly financial decision (£19.99, but still)? Probably. Did I feel a bit silly as a 21 year old carrying him on my 20 minute walk back home? Absolutely! But I feel so much better

Any time I want something I don’t need, I think of the ridiculous amount of money I’ve wasted with nothing to show for it. It’s cute, can double as a pillow, and makes you happy. That’s a win

I have my Mr Giraffey, and we always used to take him on holidays with us (he never left my side, tbh) and take funny pictures. I’ve had him from the day I was born.
He’s been with me whilst living in Ireland and Wales, sunned on the beaches of Greece, Tunisia and Turkey. Loved the elephants in India, and had a lovely iced coffee in Ibiza, to name a few.
Unfortunately, due to his old age and fragility, he’s now in retirement, but I think he’s enjoying it, with all the cheese and cola
