So sorry about the DANA … so awful.
Glad you have the ability to help… and glad you’re sober through it. Thoughts for all during this tragic time. @Alejandro8419

Its really hard, you can smell death as soon as you walk in one of those towns, but at the same time its really fullfilling the fact that so many people are gathered with to shake it all off and rebuild

Fresh haircut selfie. I’m about to go into woodworking where I’ll be wearing a visor that will mean all my efforts at styling my hair this morning will be in vain!

I totally understand what you are saying. Tragedy sort of “melts” people together as well.
Hope you can do a lot of good there, but it will take such a long time to rebuilt everything :disappointed_relieved:
A year ago when I was in Calella, Spain.
I was in a restaurant and I went upstairs for the toilet when a photo hanging on a wall caught my eye. It was a photo from a canal as those Spanish villages have a lot to get the mountain water towards the sea. At that picture I saw cars pilled up on eachother under a bridge. People on that bridge looking down to the mess. There was a date and a newspaper article attached to the photo as well. Can’t remember the date but think it was somewhere in the 80’s?
And now it happened again, sad :disappointed_relieved:
Stay safe while helping Alejandro

Looking good! You rock that silver hair lady!! :star_struck:

Volunteering and selflessly giving is a great stepping stone for personal growth. And with personal growth comes self-esteem and self love. And with self love you outgrow the need of any addiction.

Proud of you
