started working out late October, while drinking like crazy still. Within these last 56 days I’ve noticed ten times better results. Still not 100% happy because sometimes I don’t think I notice results untill I go back and look at old pics. So I geuss I should be really happy bc I wouldn’t be this far if I were still drinking. Drinking made me so lazy lol.

This was last weekend. When I decided to renovate my old office into my daughters new room. We have 4 kids. Now they all have their own rooms. I ripped up the carpet, the wood that held down the carpet and the nails out of he floor. I took down the popcorn ceiling and sanded the ceiling and painted EVERYTHING!!

I only have to paint my daughters desktop with an oil based paint but I cannot do that with them here in the house bc they will want to touch it

. I still have to do the exact same thing to our bedroom bc I have new floors being installed as well. SOBRIETY IS THE BEST

You cant tell much, but in the pic on the left I was 30lbs heavier from drinking. So happy to be 14.5 months sober!!!

Hey good to see you back man, @Rae congrats on 215. And @AliciaMarie04 at 14 months that’s amazing. Very inspiring, my mind keeps playing tricks in me rite now saying oh it’s not gonna get any better, sometimes I feel like if I’m having bad days it’s gonna stay bad and I forget about all the really good days I have too. Before it was always bad days. You all look great:)

Thanks! I still have bad days, dont get me wrong. But, the good days definitely outweigh the bad ones!!!

Almost 67 days.

What I thought was the hardest day was day 15…then day 50 something

At 66.85 days was the hardest freaking hour of this journey…armed with all my tools. I sat for a little bit, cried…cried cried,posted here, ate an embarrassing amount of brownies and rode the wave out. Today is not the day I will have a drink.
