Been out of hospital for just over 3 weeks and the chest pain has greatly reduced and I’m feeling more myself. I went to see my GP yesterday and he sounded very much like an AA old timer, ‘take it easy’, ODAAT, ‘think before you act’; so I remain in enforced not doing much mode and will be for the next month or so
Still taking the pain killers, but at a reduced dose, which seems to do the job and is a step in the right direction
The weird thing is that the meds I take for chronic pain, (Tramadol & Pregabalin) don’t do anything for any other pain I have, be it rhumatism in my hands, headache or anything else they just sort the back pain out and have done for the last 20 years or so!
The jobs are mounting up around the house, but they can all wait, they’re not going anywhere and the don’t eat, drink or breathe my air. If it’s urgent I’ll pay someone to do it for me.

This feels hard I know but is necessary. Good to see you up and looking healthier. Sorry the pain meds are addressing all the pain. I totally get it and find it weird too.
