A couple of weeks ago I formally took vows as Haengja (korean for Deacon) within a zen buddhist order. The vows are the embodiment of commitment to be of service to myself, my community and the world. This has been a huge undertaking for me and represents over two years of formal study. I could not have done it without the over four years of sobriety I have achieved.

this weekend was exhausting and full of socializing. But came home to this guy. He loves to be around me all the time and usually every where I go.
