It was a good day. I took my boys to a new (for us) nice place, they argued only 267 times, could be worse. After that we had cheap pizza from the store. It wasn’t good but I ate my anyway. I was already regretting it before I took the first bite.

Waiting for a sober meal. I am going to simply eat and drink water. For me it is still incredible.

This is what being worried about the unknown looks like. I’m still on the silent treatment and haven’t heard back on when we will talk about what the future looks Like for us going forward after my relapse.

I can understand the uneasiness and anxiety around what you’re going through and the related waiting for things to settle. It’s a tough place to be.

What I have found over the years is that as long as I do not drink, and do (or don’t do) what is within my own power - things kind of have a way of working out. Maybe not as fast as I’d like, and maybe not exactly how I like, but the conclusion is favorable more often than not.

Even in the few times where things haven’t quite worked out - sobriety grants you the ability to handle the issue far more effectively.

Right now, through keeping your head on straight, you’re giving yourself the best chance you can.

Hang in there, and just do the next right thing.

Thank you for your advice and for replying back to me. You’re absolutely right and spot on. I was sober for over a year and broke my sobriety once. I never want to do it again. The disgust in myself and the letdown is eating at me.

Never have to feel this way again, and I believe that you can get back on the horse, better than before.

Hopefully I am not wrong in interpreting your username as being a 49er fan - but I’m a Raiders fan, so hopefully my advice still counts :joy: :joy:

Anyhow, feel free to reach out anytime.

Yes I am a 49ers fan, and I have zero hate for raiders fans. Especially now that you’re in Las Vegas. The fact you’re not in our division or conference is mind blowing that there’s so much hate between the teams. Now Seahawks fans on the other hand… :joy:

I appreciate you saying I can reach out whenever. I’m going to use this app as one of the tools in my bag. I just downloaded it after relapsing the other day and so far I’m really enjoying everyone and their advice.
