You look great!

30 Days (one month). Why is the one month chip red? Because by one month we have a little blood in our alchohol system.

Thanks Melvin! Yeah, luckily not too many cravings. Life comes with ups and downs, but I’ve heard it will get better in time so I just keep on hangin’ in there :muscle:

My Ma was a marginal cook at best. I had to learn the secret through trial, error, and study.

It wasn’t until I grew up that I learned that there are more ways to cook a steak than broiling it until it takes on the texture of bowling shoes. I ate gray, tough steak the whole time growing up. Used to dip it in ketchup, another cardinal sin.

Thank goodness I made a point of learning how to cook on my own once I got older!

I’ve spent recent years trying to become a better cook.
Steakums in a frying pan are not steak!!! LOL I had to get better.

I hear you. Steak was pan fried in bacon grease until well-done. Wasn’t until I was in my teens that I discovered steak isn’t supposed to taste like burnt bacon.

Steakums are perfect for homemade Pho though. I slice them into strips while frozen, drop them in the bowl, cover with onion, bean sprouts, fresh chilies, drop some chilled noodles in there, and fill the bowl with hot beef broth. Let it sit for 5 minutes and “Bam!”
