Just bought some land on top of a mountain that I’m going to be working on this fall and winter. Taking down trees, clearing deadfall and such, putting in a camp. Figure I need to get the beard started now, to be ready for the cold. My current company is pro-beard, so I can finally grow one without disapproval.
Plus, my daughter wants me to look more like our Celt/Viking ancestors…so there’s that. I’ll update progress periodically.

That’s awesome. I think you can totally pull off the viking look, but I feel like you’d also have to grow out the top too. And add some braiding.

Ha! Yep…gonna grow it a bit. Daughter bought me beard rings at the last viking festival. I think she’s been playing too much skyrim.
